A new website online – about the BG Nexus range of the screwed metal flat plate switches, sockets, and dimmers. This is a presentation website about the decorative flat plate series for both domestic, commercial and industrial use. What can you find on this site? The main menu contains:

Metal flat plate switches – BG Nexus flat plate switch

• 10Amp metal flat plate switches – suitable mainly for lighting, in domestic, commercial or industrial applications.
• 13Amp switch spur(fused connection units) – The fused connection units are used to connect permanent appliances (like the washing machines, single ovens, dishwashers, extractor hoods and fans, etc) to the electrical circuits of the house.
• 20Amp double pole flat plate switches – these switches can take larger electrical energy loads, switching on/off not only lights but also big electricity consumers like the electrical heaters.
• 45Amp double pole flat plate switches – Mainly used for double ovens, cookers, heaters, commercial refrigeration units, freezers, and other appliances that use thicker contacts / cables, for which a 45A fuse is needed.

• Round pin and export metal plate sockets – The round pin socket outlets are special sockets, specifically designed for certain lighting accesories(some lamps).
• Co-Axial and satellite metal plate sockets – The satellite socket available is actually a satellite and co-axial socket – combo – accepting both TV aerial plugs and the cable TV or satellite. A satellite socket is a special outlet for the cable TV/satellite plug/cable.
• Telephone and data metal plate sockets – A telephone socket is the regular phone socket for the RJ11(UK, BS6312) telephone plug(which connects the telephone to the local telephone network). A data socket is a RJ45 data outlet for the internet cable / data cable / computer cable.
